About me
Tiffany wants to live in a world filled with enthusiastic lifelong learners, innovative environmental policy, and children deeply connected to nature.
Now the Education Director at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, Tiffany has been a Naturalist there since 2010. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological and Physical Sciences from University of Houston-Downtown and over 20 years in education and leadership, she's passionate about knowledge and science. Tiffany teaches students of all ages; from elementary students in the urban nature sanctuary to adults in professional development, and sometimes even her friends on how to set up their tents in the dark or pour a perfect cocktail.
When she's not instructing or creating courses to help city dwellers connect with nature, you can find her kayaking on Galveston Bay, camping under the stars, or talking to the lizards and frogs in her herb garden.
