About me
As NWF's Coordinator for the Houston region, I manage the various grant programs active in the area (Monarch Heroes, Outdoor Learning Cohort, & Resilience in Schools & Communities) and prioritize building and strengthening relationships with local partners as well as K-12 schools. My efforts focus on our programs' ability to mirror the diversity of Houston and impact climate justice and equity for the community by creating native greenspace and encouraging outdoor engagement from teachers and students on school campuses. I have enjoyed 10+ years working in informal science education and conservation. Prior to joining NWF in 2022, I worked in the Zoo and Aquarium field connecting communities with animals and inspiring action to save wildlife.
Talk to me about outdoor learning, nature play, and opportunities to connect with formal educators!
