About me
NEO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping people of all ages and backgrounds lead more outdoor oriented lives for better health, happiness, and life balance. We have a variety of programs that teach outdoor skills and provide real world experiences for children, families, older adults, people with special needs, and more. These include camping, backpacking, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, outdoor cooking, nature photography, gardening and butterfly conservation, and outdoor art. We also throw in travel throughout Texas and the country. NEO even offers special cultural diversity events such as Cultural Crafting and Cultural Cooking that can be applied to outdoor activities. We work closely with schools and other organizations to lead events, offer educational clinics, and help with logistical planning. To help support this work, we also offer private events such as company team building, family reunions, parties, church picnics, etc. NEO provides equipment for events such as tents, backpacks, kayaks, outdoor cooking gear, and more.
